The
panoramic view from the summit is probably the most photographed
landscape in the islands. The trail passes different lava
formations and pioneer vegetation on the way up to the summit. It
is a one-hour hike uphill with views of the surrounding islands that
makes it all the more worthwhile. During World World II Pinacle Rock was used for target practice / thus giving it its "pinnacle" shape. |
